I did my very first Hokie Pokie last night in honor of the Virginia Tech Orange Bowl game. Dad was very excited to dress me up in his college gear he bought for me when he went to Rush's wedding. Unfortunately, even though I have brought good luck for my parents since I was born, I couldn't pull through for the Hokies. I know that it was just a fluke and all of my future Hokie games will be wins!
I am having a hard time believing that I wasn't supposed to even be here with Mom and Dad until January 3rd. Mom has already had her six week checkup and got a clean bill of health. My first 5 weeks have been a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next five.
Tonight I am going to Uncle Mike and Aunt Rian's for dinner. I am excited to see them again.
Will post again over the weekend.
My love,
Mia

Don't the Hokies know that when it is cold babies should have long sleeves??
Sorry - my pink long sleeves were rolled up for the picture.
Mia,
First off, welcome to the internet. It's a dangerous place, so be sure to let your parents guide you through its series of vast tubes.
Second, I find this absolutely amazing. Not only are you really cute, but as wee lass, you have the same command of the English language as someone who went to a second rate ACC school. I look forward to your progression to outright child prodigy in the next few years. Stay warm, little one. :-D
